As we can see , the main work on this section of the port is to carefully transition the port into the throat
to help flow (air and fuel mix) across/pass through the 3 angle seat cut and around the valves
generally when done right and coupled with a performance oriented valve job (3 angle seat cut) we can improve flow across the board and in turn, improve performance and efficiency too!
